WHO IS BOB STIMOLO?
Prior to founding School Market Research Institute, Bob spent 10 years in various marketing positions with Xerox Education Publications, including Senior Marketing Manager for Weekly Reader’s secondary product line. During that time he accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in the school market. He also discovered the unique characteristics associated with the school market, how to overcome their challenges, and how to capitalize on the opportunities they present.
Over his 40+ years in marketing to educators, Bob has helped to plan and execute thousands of promotion campaigns. In addition to his role as President of SMRI, he is the publisher of School Marketing Newsletter and co-author with his wife Lynn of two books on the education market. Bob frequently speaks at trade association meetings and is the official school market consultant of the National School Supply and Equipment Association (NSSEA), contributing a regular column to their publication Essentials.
